Applications for NEPF² are officially open! This is an opportunity for students interested in researching fanfiction or collaborating with the group on content for our media outlets.

Participants will be able to take part in NEPF²’s activities, contributing both to studies on fan culture and to the promotion and organization of the group’s initiatives. The goal is to expand academic and creative dialogue around fanfiction and other practices related to fan studies.

Applications will be open from March 15 to March 25. To participate, visit our Linktr.ee, where you’ll find the application form and the call for applications with all the information about the process. Only brazilians can enroll on our project for now.

There are two ways to join the center: the Social Media and Arts Group and Independent Projects.

The main goal of the NEPF² Social Media and Arts Group is to create a space for students in Design, Literature, and Communication —starting in their second semester— to help the center create content and posts for the NEPF² website, Instagram, and Tumblr. Those enrolled in this category must dedicate 10 hours per week to the project (2 hours daily from Monday to Friday) in the areas of image editing, content writing, creating visual identities for the group’s events, and managing social media and posts. The group is led by coordinator Letícia Pimenta, and there will be a WhatsApp group dedicated to this sub-division. The Independent Project is a way for participants to choose what they want to do within the NEPF². Below is a list of all the types of projects that can be created within the program. If you wish to create a project with a friend or group, you must choose a representative to fill out this form and communicate with the project advisor. Every project has an supervisor, who is the person to whom participants should provide periodic updates on the project’s progress; however, supervision is optional. In this case, supervision consists of regular meetings, set deadlines, and any other form of assistance that participants may need.

Visit our Linktr.ee page, and we recommend that interested parties do not wait until the last minute to register. We look forward to welcoming new members to the group’s activities!
